HAMMERSMITH CONFECTIONS

Evan Hammersmith and wife Angela are longtime residents of Lakewood, Ohio. Evan and Angela have enjoyed successful careers as a mechanical engineer and graphic designer, respectfully. Aside from his passion for HVAC design, Evan has always found joy in cooking and baking. Angela worked as a graphic designer for a number of years until making the decision to be a stay-at-home mom to raise two wonderful boys. Soon after, Angela decided to start her own design business where she uses her creative gift to help elevate her clients' print and digital media. In 2020 during the pandemic, Evan and Angela combined their talents to start a seasonal confectionery business to offer handmade chocolates made in their home kitchen. Their training, techniques, and many recipes are credited to Evan’s talented Aunt Ann and Aunt Rose who have many decades of experience as chefs and chocolatiers. Evan and Angela wanted to share their delicious candies with a wider audience who were eager for something of higher quality. While enjoying rapid growth in the past Christmas and Easter seasons, Hammersmith Confections has opted to remain boutique where candies will remain hand-made in small batches using quality chocolates and ingredients.
